## About me

Tech Lead. For the last four and a half years I worked at Industrial.market, Severstal’s B2B marketplace for industrial procurement. I joined as the first developer and grew into leading a cross-functional team of 10+ engineers: front-end, back-end and QA. I hired people myself and have conducted 50+ interviews.

That is also where I started bringing in AI. In development we moved to Claude Code, AI code review and tests that the model writes and runs. The team started shipping about three times more — the product team could no longer keep up with us. We built AI into the product itself too: a support chatbot, catalog search and SKU matching for buyer requests.

I like problems where I first need to understand the client’s business, then design a solution and take it to production myself.

A B2B marketplace for industrial procurement: hundreds of companies, more than 10 million items in the catalog.

### Added

  • Joined as the first developer: stack, architecture, most of the code, the first people on the team.
  • Led front-end from 2023: personally selected and hired 6 senior engineers — nobody left the team.
  • AI in development: Claude Code and OpenAI every day, reviews and tests with the model — the team shipped about three times more.
  • A first-line support chatbot on local models, AI catalog search and SKU matching for buyer requests.

### Changed

  • 2024–2025: led a cross-functional team of 11 — front-end, Go back-end, QA. Code and architecture stayed on me.

### Fixed

  • Releases piled up for four months, and production was down for a week after each rollout. Moved the team to small daily releases — it worked.
  • Fewer bugs in releases while speed went up.
